I have a new job! I am very excited to be working for the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System as an Instructional Technology Specialist. I have gone from being a 10 month school employee to a 12 month district level employee. I am just finishing my first week on the new job. Everyone is just great and they have made me feel very welcome and a part of a great team. So far this week, I have been learning about SchoolWires (WSFCS website) and ActiveBoards by Promethean. I love learning new things! Which, of course, is a good thing since I have so much to learn.
Next week I am off to Boston to attend the Discovery Educator's Network (DEN) Summer Institute. I am really looking forward to it. Several of us are arriving in Boston around the same time and will be meeting up to share rides.
